Welcome new and returning Moonlight Angel members! I am thrilled to be serving as president for another year. As most of you know, I am an OU graduate and I work for JCPenney Corporate. I invite you to come to one of our events and share in the sisterhood of Pi Phi. Whether you are reconnecting with college friends or making new friends, our organization has so much to offer. Who are we?
Moonlight Angel members are career women, single or married, of all ages, but most are at least 10 years out of college. Our membership is a unique group of women who enjoy experiencing Dallas and all the city has to offer. The large number of chapters represented in our club makes our meetings a great place to visit with women from all over the country. We are very diverse!
Moonlight Angels meet evenings September through May, usually on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Our members prefer to attend meetings in the evenings to help accommodate our busy schedules.
What do we do?
Past Moonlight Angel activities have included Oscar night parties, progressive dinners at hip, new restaurants and cultural events, like visits to special exhibits at the Dallas Museum of Art. We also participate in fundraisers throughout the year to support our philanthropic efforts. Last year Moonlight Angels conducted a very successful “Speed Read” event to raise money for literacy.
