President's Welcome

I am so excited to be president of the Junior Day Group this year! Our group has tons of fun activities for moms & professionals! I encourage you to join us at any of our fabulous events! I am a native Dallasite, a Texas Beta (SMU) & I completed my graduate work at Indiana University. I met my husband, Mike, there & brought him back to Texas! We have a son, Jack, who was born in December, 2006. It was so fabulous to move to a new city & have that Pi Phi connection while in Indiana! I look forward to seeing you at a meeting this year! Please feel free to contact me if I can answer any questions for you about our group!

Junior Day

Are you a bit beyond college graduation and looking to connect with women who are just starting to raise their families, newly married or just want to meet during the day? If so, then Junior Day is the group for you!

Who are we?

The women of Junior Day are primarily between the ages of 25 and 45. Most are either married, thinking about starting a family, or right in the midst of the child rearing craziness! Our group is an amazing source of support and a great way to plug in with other moms who are at the same place in life.

When do we meet?

Junior Day hosts monthly meetings and events. Sometimes we meet in the morning and sometimes child-friendly afternoon events are scheduled. Though we are called “Junior Day” we also occasionally host evening events such as girls’ night out and group outings like wine tastings with our spouses.

Where do we meet?

We meet in each other’s homes or at the SMU Pi Phi house for children’s events, including Halloween and Christmas festivities. We also join the other Dallas Pi Phi groups for annual events like the Christmas tea and all-club mixer at the beginning of the year.

Junior Day events are always a great time. They help keep the year exciting and full of new activities! If you are interested in learning more about Junior Day, or have general questions, contact the Junior Day President, Jennifer Cronin.
