Pi Beta Phi 67th Biennial Convention Highlights

On June 26, 2009 nearly one thousand Pi Phis blazed trails from North, South, East and West and converged upon the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas.

The Gift of Leadership

During the Pi Beta Phi 67th Biennial Convention the Dallas  Alumnae Club of Pi  Beta Phi was  pleased to  present a copy of The Gift of Leadership: How to Relight the Volunteer Spirit in the 21st Century by keynote speaker, Mark Levin to the 300 convention voting delegates.  The club underwrote the book in honor of the new Pi Beta Phi Grand President, Mary Tatum, a member of the Dallas Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi.

Dallas  Alumnae Club of Pi  Beta Phi received a letter of thanks from Grand President, Mary Loy Tatum  stating:

The Fraternity thanks you so much for underwriting the book The Gift of Leadership that was given as a “gift” to the alumnae delegates after Mark Levin’s keynote address at convention. This underwriting was very generous of you and was appreciated a great deal by all.

Dallas Pi Phi wins “Club of Excellence” distinction

The Dallas Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi received two awards of distinction- “Club of Excellence” and “Excellence in Communication.” Thank you to all of our wonderful alumnae club officers and members!
